Depending on the event, the check-in time varies. For the events that are a week long, retreats, and Charlie Brown, the check in time is at 6 p.m. on the first evening of the event. The Day Camp check-in time is 9am.

It depends on the length of the event – but $10 on your canteen card should cover a week. If there’s any money remaining on the card after the event, it will go towards the mission of the event.

Yes, we will be providing dinner the first night and providing breakfast and, sometimes, lunch on the last day depending on check out times, which vary for each event.

Our staff monitors the weather and checks to make sure lightning and heavy rain are outside the campgrounds. If there’s lightning, then we will make sure all the campers and staff are safe inside of a building. Then we will proceed with the activities indoors.

Deep Valley does offer sponsorships to reduce our camp rates. Please reach out to us if you need assistance with tuition. We would love to help out!

Yes, you can contact your child through letters or emails. You can send an email to [email protected], and we will provide it to them, usually at meal time.

We discourage direct phone calls and texts/posts since they tend to make homesick campers miss home more.

Each event has a medical professional on site for the entire duration. He or she will monitor and provide any medication at each meal, before bed, and in the morning. In case of an injury or sickness, the guardians/parents/emergency contact will be notified by our medical professional and/or Dean of the event.

A typical day at camp will include lots of fun activities, chapel, vespers, swimming in the creek, and building memories that will last forever.  The day begins with flag raising and devotions, followed by lessons, activities, and three homecooked, full meals.  Drinks are available at all times and a canteen time for treats is scheduled daily.  The day ends with prayer and singing at the campfire, followed by a cozy snooze overnight in the dorms.

Coming to Deep Valley is a chance to make the best, eternal friends!  The staff will be available to greet your child at check in and to make sure that he or she is welcomed and introduced to these forever friends!
