Sharon Hittle
Sharon Hittle is our dean for Day Camp, a one day event for kids in grades K-1. This year Day Camp will be held from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on July 27. Sharon and her new husband Trent Hittle actually met at camp as youngsters and now live at the camp because she is our camp caretaker! (All that grass down there? Yeah, she mows that!) Sharon is a graduate of Kentucky Christian University, collects recipes, and loves Proverbs 16:9.
Lareina Borrow
Lareina King Burow has been the dean for Charlie Brown Camp for a few years now. She is a DV lifer, and her husband Jesse finally had a chance to join the fun last year! Together, Lareina and Jesse have built a home for themselves on the top of a mountain in Maryland. There, they raise their daughters Eleanor and Grace, a herd of beef cattle, some chickens, black labs, and some very special kitties! She likes fishing, reading, crafting, the book of Numbers, and blue slushy ice cream.
Danielle Stephenson & Corey Fisher
Junior Week for grades 4-5 runs from July 7-12 this year, and the deans are this dynamic sibling duo, Danielle Stephenson and Corey Fisher! Danielle and Corey both live in Pittsburgh and serve at One Church Pittsburgh. Danielle and her husband Brandon have 3 boys, Noah, Drew, and Coby, who have grown up at camp and look forward to attending without their parents as they grow older! Danielle enjoys her cold brew coffee, a good historical fiction book, and watching hours and hours of Little League baseball! When not rooting on his nephews at their sporting events, Uncle Corey spends a great deal of his “free” time at camp. He is our current camp board vice president and building and grounds guru and fixer of broken things. He likes all kinds of tools and shaving his beard in stages during Jr. Week!

Jerry McCloskey
Our dean for Senior High week is Jerry McCloskey. Jerry is also a lifer at DV, but his life travels have taken him down various roads. A geologist by trade and training, Jerry and his wife Melissa now own their own sheep farm near where he serves as the minister at Jerusalem Christian Church. He and Melissa are the parents of three children, and, in addition to the sheep, their farm is home to several Newfoundlands, a “champion” Border Collie named Boomer, and a guard llama and her daughter, Brenda!
Luke Sherrod
Luke is our newest dean, but he is no stranger to Deep Valley! Luke is another lifelong DV attender and fan. Luke played football for Meadville High School and Grove City College. He and his wife Mallory live in the Harmony area and have taken over the dean and nurse duties for our youth retreats.
